How we priced this · sources and dates

Each competitor's prices come from its own source, checked on its own date: Yotpo's reviews-pricing.md (archived) (September 10, 2026); okendo.io/pricing (September 10, 2026); Stamped's App Store listing (September 8, 2026); Loox's App Store listing (September 8, 2026). Yotpo shown on the Pro plan (its AI tier), whose published ladder tops out at $379/mo for up to 5,999 monthly orders — 6,000+ is quoted by sales. Yotpo serves two different price tables from the same pricing URL, so we cite its own price document via the Internet Archive rather than the live page. Okendo's bands step at 1,500 and 3,500 orders, so crossing 1,500 moves Growth to Power in a single order. Loox on Convert ($50 per 300 orders past the first 300), switching to Loox Unlimited when that is cheaper. The BetterReviews Good plan is $49/mo with 150 AI-guided reviews a month (about 2% of orders become AI-guided reviews, so roughly 7,500 orders); the Better plan is $149/mo with 1,000. How billing works

Orders

Never counted, on any plan. The bill is the same at 100 orders a month or 100,000.

Review requests

Unlimited on every plan. Sending is paced for deliverability and may be spaced out per customer, never metered into a bill.

AI-guided reviews

1 credit when a customer submits an AI-guided review. Starting a chat costs nothing. The Good plan includes 150 a month, the Better plan 1,000, Studio 3,000. The Free plan has 50 conversations in total to try the chat, and each one counts when it starts.

Product pages and Studio

5 credits when you publish an AI product page. Regenerating a block is free five times, then 1 credit each. On Good, the one sneak-peek page publishes free. In Studio, a batch of creatives uses 2 credits and ideas from a single quote use 1; Good's sneak-peek generations are free. Saving, editing and exporting are free.

Running out

Collection never stops. Past your included reviews, customers get the classic review form for free. Or turn on Fair auto-recharge under a monthly cap you set: 50 more for $25 on Good, or 500 more for $50 on Better ($25 on Studio).

Billing

On your Shopify invoice, locked at signup. A price change needs a new subscription you approve first. Uninstalling cancels it.

Migration

White-glove migration is included on Better and Studio. A person moves your reviews and checks the counts. On Free and Good, you can import yourself from any platform.

Cancelling

You drop back to Free, nothing is deleted. Your reviews, widgets and settings stay, and you can export everything any time. Uninstalling the app is different: your store data is deleted within 30 days.

Yes. The Free plan is $0 a month, with no card, no trial clock, and no time limit. Orders, reviews, and review request emails are unlimited on it, and requests go out with the classic review form. You get the widgets, Google rich snippets, Google Shopping product ratings, Klaviyo, the API and AI-agent skills (natural-language review search is the paid part), review groups, import, moderation, review analysis, and the weekly digest. Two things mark it: 50 AI conversations in total to try the chat, after which shoppers get the classic form, and a small "Powered by BetterReviews" line on your widgets, form, and emails. Paid plans lift both, starting with Good at $49 a month.

What does the Good plan add?

AI-guided reviews on your own brand. Good is $49 a month and includes 150 AI-guided reviews a month. Past those, shoppers get the classic review form, or you turn on Fair auto-recharge: 50 more for $25, under a monthly cap you set ($200 by default, anywhere from $50 to $1,000). Good removes the "Powered by BetterReviews" line and adds natural-language review search in the app, with answers and summaries through the API. It also includes a sneak peek, counted over any 30 days: 5 Studio generations (failed runs do not count, up to 10 attempts) and 1 AI product page (2 drafts, 1 free publish, up to 12 generations including regenerations, plus 20 fact checks a day). Full Studio, early access to Insights and the quote bank, AI product pages beyond the peek, AI Q&A generation, SEO keyword research, claims, rights management, the Reactiv integration, white-glove migration and a dedicated CSM are on Better.

What does the Better plan add?

Does migration cost extra?

No. White-glove migration is included on Better and Studio: a person moves your reviews from your current app and checks the counts with you, product by product. On Free and Good you can import from any platform yourself. See betterreviews.app/migrate for every platform we move you from.

Is there a free trial?

No, and there does not need to be. The Free plan is the trial: run the product on your real store for as long as you like, including 50 AI conversations to see what the chat collects. Billing starts the day you subscribe, and the price you sign up at is the price you keep.

What does the price lock mean?

The monthly price you sign up at is the price you pay for as long as your subscription runs. No annual uplift, no renewal increase, and your orders are never counted. Changing a price requires a new Shopify subscription that you would have to approve first.

Is there a catch on unlimited?

Unlimited means orders, reviews, and review request emails: none of those are ever capped by your plan or charged for, and nothing is metered into a bill (sending is paced for deliverability and may be spaced out per customer, as on every plan). AI-guided reviews work on included credits: 150 a month on Good, 1,000 on Better, 3,000 on Studio. Credits are spent four ways only: 1 when a customer actually submits an AI-guided review (never for starting a chat), 5 when you publish a product page, 1 per block if you regenerate the same block more than five times before publishing, and in Studio, 2 per batch of creatives or 1 per set of ideas from a single quote (only when the generation delivers something; Good's sneak-peek generations are free). Past the included amount, customers get the classic review form, free, forever, so collection never stops. Or you switch on Fair auto-recharge under a monthly spending cap you set yourself: on Good it adds 50 AI-guided reviews for $25; on Better it adds 500 for $50 ($25 on Studio).

How does billing work?

Billing runs through Shopify, so the charge sits on your Shopify invoice and uninstalling cancels it. The price lock is enforced by Shopify itself: changing a price requires a new subscription that you would have to approve first.

Can I switch plans later?

Yes. Moving between Good and Better is self-serve in the app and bills on Shopify approval. A switch takes effect right away and starts a fresh billing period with the new plan's included reviews. If you move from Better to Good, partner integrations such as Reactiv pause until you upgrade again, product pages you already published stay live, and the sneak peek counts the last 30 days, including what you made on Better.
