Above roughly 1,800 orders a month this becomes the cheaper plan, and the overage stops being a factor. Below it, you are paying for headroom you are not using.
The overage is the story
Every other app in this category tells you which bracket you are in. Loox charges by the block, so the bill moves without a decision being made. Its own App Store reviews are where merchants describe finding out:

The arithmetic behind that: a store growing from 300 to 900 orders a month triples its review-app bill, from $49.99 to $149.99, with no upgrade screen in between. The product did not change. The order count did.

The crossover against us is at about 900 orders a month. Below it Loox is cheaper; above it the gap opens and keeps opening, because one of those numbers is indexed to your growth and ours is not.
This is the category pattern rather than a Loox quirk — Okendo steps $119 → $299 at 1,500 orders, Yotpo’s Pro ladder runs $119 to $379 before going to a quote, Stamped re-tiers at 200 and 1,000. Loox is simply the most direct about billing you per order.
Where Loox is the better choice
Photo and video reviews are its DNA. Loox was built visual-first and it shows — the collection flow and the galleries are designed around images rather than treating them as an attachment. If UGC imagery is the point, that focus is real.
Built-in referrals. A referral programme is included rather than sold separately, which for some stores replaces a second app.
Social commerce sync. TikTok Shop and Meta integrations ship as part of the product.
Under 900 orders a month it is cheaper than we are. If your volume is stable and low, that is the straightforward answer.
