Bazaarvoice Pricing: What It Actually Costs in 2026

Bazaarvoice does not publish prices. Here is what buyers report actually paying — contract benchmarks, implementation fees, and what a DTC Shopify brand should compare it against.

Updated August 31, 2026

Bazaarvoice does not publish a price anywhere. The pricing page is a demo form, the sales process is quote-only, and you find out what it costs after the discovery call. This page collects what buyers report actually paying, so you can walk into that call with numbers, or decide the call is not worth taking.

Nothing here comes from inside knowledge. Every figure is from published buyer-reported data, cited in place, checked August 31, 2026. BetterReviews prices on this page are Unlimited at $149/mo.

What buyers report paying

Vendr, which benchmarks SaaS contracts from real purchase data, reports for Bazaarvoice:

FigureReported amount
Median annual contract~$36,000/yr
Reported contract range~$12,300 to ~$98,800/yr
Implementation feesStandard, typically negotiable when bundled

The spread is wide because Bazaarvoice prices on SKU count, order volume, and modules (Ratings & Reviews, Questions & Answers, Sampling, Insights, retail syndication). Vendr’s benchmark for small to mid-size deployments runs $40,000 to $80,000 a year.

For scale: the median Bazaarvoice contract costs more per month than a year of BetterReviews Unlimited.

The costs the quote will not lead with

  • Implementation is real money and real time. Onboarding is a project with professional services attached, not an app install. Vendr’s guidance is that implementation fees are standard and worth negotiating when bundled into the contract. Budget for the fee and the weeks it takes.
  • Annual contracts, renewed by default. There is no month-to-month option. Whatever you sign, you are in it for the year.
  • The sales process is the trial. With no self-serve tier, you cannot put Bazaarvoice on three products and watch what happens. You commit first and find out after.
  • Modules multiply. Ratings & Reviews is the entry point. Sampling, Insights, and syndication each move the number up, and the quote is built so the module you want most arrives bundled with two you did not ask about.

What you are actually buying

Honesty first: for the right buyer, Bazaarvoice is not overpriced.

Retail syndication is the product. Bazaarvoice pushes your reviews to product pages at Walmart, Target, Best Buy, and the rest of its retailer network. If your revenue runs through those shelves, no Shopify app replaces that network, and the contract can pay for itself.

Enterprise procurement boxes get ticked. Mature moderation, compliance posture, account management. If your legal team requires all three, the shortlist is Bazaarvoice and PowerReviews, and you should be negotiating between them.

If neither applies, you are the wrong buyer. A DTC brand on Shopify collecting reviews for its own product pages uses none of the syndication network. You would be paying enterprise prices for the part every Shopify review app already does.

The Shopify math

Take the median contract and compare it against what the on-site job costs on Shopify-native apps at 5,000 orders a month:

PlatformWhat you payAnnual
Bazaarvoice~$36,000/yr median (Vendr) + implementation$36,000+
Yotpo Pro$379/mo at 5,000 orders$4,548
Okendo Advanced$499/mo (3,501 to 10,000 orders)$5,988
BetterReviews Unlimited$149/mo flat, orders never counted$1,788

That is not a like-for-like table, and it is not pretending to be. Bazaarvoice includes syndication the others do not have. The question it puts in front of you is exact: is retail syndication worth the roughly $30,000 a year gap for your store? If you sell through big-box retail, maybe. If you do not, the gap is the answer.

If you are leaving enterprise review software

Stores usually meet this decision mid-replatform: moving from Magento or Salesforce Commerce Cloud to Shopify, with a Bazaarvoice or PowerReviews contract coming up for renewal. That is the cheapest possible moment to switch review platforms, because the data migration is already on the project plan.

BetterReviews imports your existing reviews from a CSV export, a person on our team runs the import, and you get a count-match report per product so you can see nothing went missing. The switch runs side by side with your old platform, your Google stars are verified through Google’s own testing tools before you cancel anything, and billing starts when the widget goes live on your storefront. There is no annual contract to sign, which after a Bazaarvoice renewal cycle may read as the strangest sentence on this page.

Questions merchants ask

Bazaarvoice does not publish prices. Vendr's contract benchmark data shows a median annual cost of about $36,000, with reported contracts ranging from roughly $12,000 to $99,000 a year, before implementation fees. Your quote depends on SKU count, order volume, and which modules are included.
No. Bazaarvoice sells through a quote-and-demo sales process with annual contracts. There is no self-serve trial, so you cannot test it against your store before committing.
It depends on retail syndication. If you sell through Walmart, Target, or other major retailers, Bazaarvoice's syndication network is the product and can justify the price. If you are a DTC Shopify brand collecting reviews for your own product pages, you would be paying five figures for reach you cannot use.
For DTC Shopify brands, Shopify-native apps cover the on-site job at a fraction of the cost: BetterReviews Unlimited at $149/month with AI-guided collection, Okendo from free to $499/month by order volume, or Judge.me free or $15/month for basic collection. If you need retail syndication, PowerReviews is the closest direct competitor.

BetterReviews: $149/mo Unlimited, AI-guided review collection, reviews imported and verified for you, billing at go-live. Free until you go live; the 14-day trial starts when you switch collection on. No annual contract.
