Questions about migrating
Does migration cost anything?
No. The white-glove migration is included on Better and Studio at no extra charge: no setup fee and no migration fee. On the Free plan you can import your reviews yourself.
Will I lose my Google stars?
Not if only one app publishes product data. The BetterReviews widget outputs a complete Product block with rating, price and availability. We remove the old app’s snippet with you, test your pages in Google’s own tool, and you keep the old app until that check passes. Google re-indexes within 2 to 4 weeks.
Do I have to run the import myself?
No. You connect the old app or send us the export. A person on our team runs the import, checks the counts and fixes anything that does not match.
What if I rely on an integration you don’t have?
Tell us on the first call. If a tool your store depends on is not connected yet, building that connection moves to the front of our queue, before you switch.
Can I start with a few products?
Yes. Most stores start on a handful of products, keep the old app live everywhere else, and switch the rest once new reviews are coming in.
