Yotpo vs Okendo: Pricing, Features and Which One Bills You Harder (2026)
Okendo vs Yotpo compared on what actually differs — published pricing ladders, the order volumes that trigger a jump, feature gating, and support you only get at the top tier.
Okendo and Yotpo are the two apps merchants most often shortlist against each other at the upper end of the Shopify reviews market. This page compares them on the things that actually differ — and since we sell a competing product, it also says where each of them beats us.
Prices below come from each vendor’s own source, each checked on its own date: Okendo’s order-volume selector on okendo.io/pricing (September 10, 2026) and Yotpo’s machine-readable price document, archived September 10, 2026.
The short version
Okendo is built around structured, attribute-based reviews — “True to Size”, “Skin Type” — and has expanded into loyalty, quizzes, referrals and surveys. 18,000+ Shopify brands.
Yotpo is the larger platform: reviews, loyalty, SMS and subscriptions, 35,000+ brands, fifteen years in market. It is the broader product and the more expensive one at most volumes.
Both price by order volume, which is the thing to weigh before either feature list. The difference between them is where the steps land.
Pricing: where each one steps
| Monthly orders | Okendo Reviews | Yotpo Pro |
|---|---|---|
| 200 | $19/mo (Essential, no AI) | $119/mo |
| 300 | $119/mo (Growth) | $169/mo |
| 1,500 | $119/mo (Growth) | $269/mo |
| 1,501 | $299/mo (Power) | $269/mo |
| 3,500 | $299/mo (Power) | $329/mo |
| 3,501 | $499/mo (Advanced) | $379/mo |
| 6,000+ | Custom pricing | Custom-quoted |
Okendo’s steps are bigger and land harder. Crossing 1,500 orders moves Growth to Power — $119 to $299, a 151% increase off a single order. Yotpo’s ladder has more rungs and climbs more gradually, so it is more expensive early and less punishing in the middle.
Okendo’s own FAQ describes the two options when you pass a band: “you can choose to either upgrade your plan level or purchase a once off ‘top up’ of order credits.” Both cost more than the plan you were on.
One wrinkle on the Yotpo side: yotpo.com/pricing serves two different price tables from the same URL. Sampling it ten times on September 10, 2026 returned the current ladder six times and an older, costlier one four times. The figures above follow Yotpo’s own price document. How we priced this · sources and dates
Each competitor's prices come from its own source, checked on its own date: Yotpo's reviews-pricing.md (archived) (September 10, 2026); okendo.io/pricing (September 10, 2026); Stamped's App Store listing (September 8, 2026); Loox's App Store listing (September 8, 2026). Yotpo shown on the Pro plan (its AI tier), whose published ladder tops out at $379/mo for up to 5,999 monthly orders — 6,000+ is quoted by sales. Yotpo serves two different price tables from the same pricing URL, so we cite its own price document via the Internet Archive rather than the live page. Okendo's bands step at 1,500 and 3,500 orders, so crossing 1,500 moves Growth to Power in a single order. Loox on Convert ($50 per 300 orders past the first 300), switching to Loox Unlimited when that is cheaper. BetterReviews Unlimited is $149/mo with 1,000 AI-collected reviews included each month. Orders are never counted. Loox's top plan is also named Unlimited — the calculator labels it Loox Unlimited. Prefer self-serve? Install from the App Store.
Feature gating is where the real cost sits
Neither app’s headline price is what a competitive setup costs, because the features most stores need sit above the entry tier.
Okendo gates the Klaviyo integration behind Power at $299/mo. Most Shopify stores already run Klaviyo, which means the integration you assumed was a toggle is a $180/mo upgrade. AI summaries and Q&A start at Growth ($119).
Yotpo gates AI review summaries, smart sorting, custom questions and Google Seller Rating behind Pro. Retail syndication (Bazaarvoice and PowerReviews) requires Premium, which is custom-quoted. API access sits at Premium too.
Both gate human support. Okendo lists “Customer Success Manager” and “Key Account Manager” as tier-dependent rows in its own comparison matrix. Yotpo places its account-management equivalent behind Enterprise with custom contract terms and a yearly minimum. On either platform, the person you talk to is a function of what you spend.
Where Okendo wins
Attribute-based reviews. Structured attributes on the review form — fit, skin type, use case — displayed as filters. If you sell fashion or beauty this is a genuine differentiator and neither Yotpo nor we match it.
Published per-product prices. Okendo will at least show you a number before a sales call, which Yotpo largely will not.
Contract buyout. Okendo advertises paying out a competitor’s remaining contract, which matters if you are locked into an annual Yotpo term.
More predictable within a band. You know you are paying $119 or $299, rather than landing somewhere on a seven-rung ladder.
Where Yotpo wins
Platform breadth. Reviews, loyalty, SMS, email and subscriptions from one vendor. Nothing else in this comparison is close, us included.
In-mail review submission. Customers can leave a rating and review inside the email without clicking through. Yotpo claims materially higher collection rates from it.
Enterprise compliance. SOC 2 Type 2 and ISO 27001, plus the Built for Shopify badge.
Dual retail syndication. Both Bazaarvoice and PowerReviews, at Premium.
Scale and track record. 35,000+ brands and fifteen years of operating history.
One thing to weigh against that breadth: Yotpo announced in August 2025 that it would sunset its native Email and SMS products by the end of that year, alongside a reduction of roughly 200 roles. If consolidating channels onto one vendor is the reason you are considering Yotpo, that history is worth asking about directly.
Where we fit, and where we don’t
We make a competing product, so treat this section as a participant’s pitch rather than a verdict.
BetterReviews is $149/mo flat, with orders, reviews and review request emails never counted. Neither ladder above applies — there is no band to cross and no quote to negotiate. Instead of a form, customers have a short AI-guided conversation that asks follow-up questions, so reviews come back with use cases and comparisons rather than a sentence. A dedicated CSM, widget design and done-for-you migration are on every plan rather than gated by tier.
What we don’t do: loyalty, SMS, email or subscriptions. No attribute-based review forms. No retail syndication and no Google Seller Ratings. No SOC 2 Type 2 today. If any of those is a requirement, one of the two apps above is your answer and we would rather say so here.
Which to choose
| If this describes you | The answer |
|---|---|
| Fashion or beauty, and attribute filters matter | Okendo |
| You want one vendor for reviews, loyalty and SMS | Yotpo |
| You need SOC 2, ISO 27001 or retail syndication | Yotpo |
| Locked into an annual contract you want out of | Okendo (contract buyout) |
| Under 1,500 orders and cost is the driver | Okendo Growth at $119 |
| You want a bill that doesn’t move as you grow | BetterReviews at $149, or Judge.me at $15 |
| Your reviews are short and say nothing useful | That is the gap we built for |
Leaving either one? See migrating from Okendo or from Yotpo — we do the migration for you while your current app stays live.
