How to Switch from Stamped to BetterReviews

What comes across

Stamped’s review export is read as-is. Rating, title, review text, reviewer name, original date, published state, your public replies, and the helpful vote counts all come across. A person on our team runs the import and checks the review counts with you, product by product.

Common fears addressed

”Will I lose my photo reviews?”

Not if the photos are in the export. Ask Stamped for an export that includes photo links. If the file only has image file names, we sort out the photos with you before anything goes live.

”What about Google stars?”

The BetterReviews widget outputs a Product block with your star rating, price and availability. We also build a Google product ratings feed from your reviews, imported ones included, for Google Shopping. If Stamped added its own structured data to your theme, remove it so Google sees one Product block. We test your pages in Google’s Rich Results Test before you switch.

”Month to month?”

Yes. No contracts and no annual commitment. You can export your reviews and leave at any time.

The migration process

1. Get your export from Stamped

Export your reviews from the Stamped dashboard. If the file is missing photos or older reviews, ask Stamped support for a complete export.

2. Hand the file to us

Install BetterReviews and upload the file in onboarding, or send it to us. There are no columns for you to remap. A person on our team runs the import and checks the counts.

3. Run side by side, then cut over

Keep Stamped live while we set up the widget on a few products. Just before you switch, export once more so reviews collected during the overlap come across too. Then swap the widgets, remove Stamped’s theme code, and turn on collection in BetterReviews.
